Is Your Young One Developing Neurotransmitter Disorder?

As a parent, you tend to be keen on your children, and you may notice some changes in the way they are behaving. If you are worried about your child and their possibility of developing neurotransmitter related illnesses, read on to find out if your fears are justified.  Learn more about Dr. James R. Eells, go here.

Sudden change in behavior

If your child has suddenly changed the way they behave and respond to you, this may be an indication of an underlying problem. Children with neurotransmitter disorders tend to be extremely aggressive and disobedient. They do not care or even listen when you talk to them.  Pay attention to any behavior change especially if your child did not display them before.   Find out for further details on Dr. James R. Eells right here.

Poor school performance

A sudden change in the way a child performs in school should cause alarm. If your child was an A student and all of a sudden he or she starts presenting report cards crammed with E' and F's, you need to look into the situation.

Change in Sleeping Patterns or Feeding Behavior

This is one of the sure signs of mental disturbance. If your child was a poor feeder who suddenly resorts to overeating and sleeping for long hours, you need to have the child checked.

Hyperactivity

Children are normally active and all over the place. However, if you notice your baby becoming too hyperactive and uncontrollable, this should raise a concern.

Extreme Anxiety or Worry

A child may always be anxious about simple things such as going to bed, sleeping alone and even going to school. If a child never used to be bothered by such things and they suddenly concern him or her, consider seeking medical help.

Unexplained Frequent Illness

If your child suddenly becomes ill more frequently without any possible explanation, pay more attention to the kid and find out what could be the matter. Take the child to the hospital to look into the situation especially if there are no changes such as environmental and dietary changes that can be used to explain the frequent illnesses.

A person with neurotransmitter disorder is probably one of the most difficult patients to diagnose. The disorder manifests itself in various ways, and they may be confusing to both the parent and the doctor. For instance, an unexplained change in the behavior of the child should cause concern to the parent. You need to be keen on your child to notice any slight changes that may be displayed. You may miss some changes if you are not keen. Take a look at this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotransmitter for more information.
